Vitality Blast 2026 squads and teams
The Vitality Blast 2026 squad directory contains 387 sourced player records across all 18 men's counties. Each card states whether it represents a campaign match-squad union, a Finals Day selection or a wider current all-format club directory, so selection is not presented as proof of an appearance.
18 counties · 387 sourced names
What is included in the Vitality Blast squad directory?
Every county has a dedicated card with its team mark, captain status, sourced names, player roles and links to the detailed team guide and underlying roster evidence. The records were assembled independently because English counties do not all publish one final season list in the same format.
Thirteen cards use official match-squad announcements or completed campaign selections. Surrey, Sussex, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Yorkshire use wider current men's directories, with their card notes identifying that all-format scope rather than implying every listed player took part in the Blast.

Derbyshire Falcons
17 playersCaptain: Aneurin Donald
This 17-player season group is the union of Derbyshire's official men's Blast squad announcements from the opener through the final match. The final 14-player list is supplemented only by Caleb Jewell, Mitch Wagstaff and Rory Haydon, who appeared in earlier official T20 squads. It is a season-specific men's list, not the larger multi-format county directory or the separate Falcons women's squad.

Durham
17 playersCaptain: Alex Lees
This 17-player season group is the union of Durham's official men's Blast squad announcements from the opener through Brydon Carse's July return. It includes all 15 players who appeared in a 2026 Blast XI plus Shafiqullah Ghafari and Haydon Mustard, who were selected in official match squads. It does not mix in the larger multi-format county directory or Durham Women's separate squad.

Wiaan Mulder and Simon Fernandes belonged to the early group; Charlie Allison, Sam Cook and Jordan Cox joined later selections, while Robin Das remained in published squads. Glamorgan
19 playersCaptain: Kiran Carlson
This 19-player group follows Glamorgan's published match squads during the completed Blast campaign. Seventeen names appeared in at least one match. Colin Ingram played the opener, while Eddie Byrom and Callum Rhys Nicholls were documented on the bench but did not appear; the page does not invent an injury or selection reason for any later absence.

Gloucestershire
18 playersCaptain: Jack Taylor
These 18 players form the final quarter-final squad and bench, cross-checked against all completed 2026 Blast scorecards. Every name appeared at least once during the 13-match campaign, but they were not one fixed or simultaneously available squad; the page excludes contracted players who did not appear or enter a documented Blast match group.

Kent Spitfires
21 playersCaptain: Sam Billings · men's T20 captain
This 21-player season group combines Kent's announced T20 overseas and senior signings with every player documented in the completed 2026 Blast statistics. Senuran Muthusamy remains listed as a signed full-season overseas all-rounder even though the final Blast statistics record no appearance; Hasan Mahmud and Dian Forrester are included because they played during the campaign. Leicestershire Foxes
20 playersCaptain: Ben Green · 2026 men's Vitality Blast captain
This 20-player season group combines Leicestershire's official opening squad with later official squad announcements and signings. It records players selected or documented in T20 match-day groups during the campaign, not an unsupported claim that every player appeared. Keshav Maharaj was replaced before the season and Ajaz Patel was rested throughout the Blast, so neither is added to this T20 group.

The 20-player season group starts with the 15 names displayed in Nottinghamshire's official opening-match squad graphic. Warwickshire Bears

The club's current men's directory contains 23 players. Usman Tariq is added from Warwickshire's official Blast signing and all 11 completed scorecards in which he appeared; George Garton is retained because official 2026 Blast match material named him in the squad. Yorkshire
34 playersCaptain: Jonny Bairstow · Blast 2026
This source-scoped current roster contains 34 ongoing all-format entries. Jhye Richardson is retained in Yorkshire's historical career context but excluded here because the club announced only a completed first block of 2026 County Championship fixtures, not a Blast or continuing all-format contract. Sixteen players appeared in the completed 2026 Blast: Adam Lyth, AJ Tye, Dan Moriarty, Dom Bess, Faheem Ashraf, George Hill, Hassan Ali, Jafer Chohan, James Wharton, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Logan van Beek, Matthew Revis, Moeen Ali, Sam Whiteman and Will Luxton. Different official publication models
Why are some Vitality Blast squad lists longer than others?
Counties published their 2026 information in different ways. Some issued a squad before each match, allowing StumpScope to build a season union; Hampshire's card uses the completed Final match sheet, while other clubs maintain a live senior men's directory spanning multiple formats.
The count therefore measures documented roster scope, not competitive advantage or players used. Yorkshire's 35-name current men's directory and Surrey's 34-name directory should not be compared directly with Northamptonshire's 16-player match-squad union as if all three were equivalent final tournament lists.
| Roster model | Counties | What the card means |
|---|---|---|
| Campaign selections | 13 | Union of official 2026 match groups or completed campaign evidence |
| Current club directory | 5 | All-format men's list with Blast appearance limits stated in the note |
Season-specific leadership
Who captained the counties in the 2026 Blast?
Each card uses the captain status recorded for the men's 2026 T20 campaign, not a silent carry-over from a county's Championship or One-Day Cup leadership. The label also preserves documented changes where one player did not lead throughout the season.
Worcestershire, for example, list Brett D'Oliveira and then Adam Hose from 27 June. A shared card does not imply co-captaincy in every match; the detailed team guide preserves the timing and source context.
Roster is not an appearance log
Does every listed player have a 2026 Blast appearance?
No. A player can appear in an official match squad without entering the playing XI, and a current club directory can include players unavailable for the T20 window. The card notes identify these limits where the source record allows them to be resolved.
Completed appearances and individual aggregates belong to scorecards and the statistics page. The squad directory records documented team membership or selection only; it does not convert a roster listing into a match played.
Completed men's season
What season does this squad record cover?
The page covers the men's Vitality Blast played from 22 May to 18 July 2026. Overseas replacements, late call-ups and Finals Day additions are retained when an official club announcement or completed match record places them inside that campaign.
Later contract changes and squads for the County Championship, One-Day Cup, women's competitions or the next Blast season do not rewrite the completed 2026 record. A current all-format directory is labelled as such and remains separate from the 2026 appearance boundary.
