Middlesex are the men's professional side of member-owned Middlesex County Cricket Club, formally constituted in 1864. The club represents London and the historic county of Middlesex across the County Championship, One Day Cup and Vitality Blast.
Middlesex finished fifth in the six-team 2026 South Group with four wins, eight losses, 16 points and a -1.243 net run rate. They matched fourth-placed Kent's points total but finished below them on net run rate and did not qualify for the quarter-finals.
Max Holden led the 2026 batting with 297 runs after adding 24 in the final win at Kent. Luke Hollman finished second with 250 runs and moved clear as the leading wicket-taker with 11; Tom Helm took ten and became Middlesex's all-time leading men's T20 wicket-taker during the campaign.
Middlesex's only domestic men's T20 title came in 2008, when they beat Lancashire in the quarter-final, Durham in the semi-final and Kent in the final. The club has not returned to Finals Day since that championship season.
