Notts Outlaws Team: Squad, Results, Stats & Schedule

Notts Outlaws are Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club's men's limited-overs side. The club is a member-controlled registered society, not a privately owned T20 franchise.

The Outlaws won England's men's domestic T20 title in 2017 and 2020. Their 2026 quarter-final win over Surrey returned them to Finals Day for the first time since the second title.

After losing their first three matches, Notts won a county-record eight consecutive T20 games. They finished first in the North Group with eight wins, four losses, 32 points and NRR +0.169.

Notts beat Surrey by seven runs at Trent Bridge before Hampshire Hawks ended the campaign by 27 runs in the Finals Day semi-final. The complete season record was 14 played, nine won and five lost.

The campaign changed after the first announcement. Peter Siddle withdrew before the competition, George Linde joined after a visa delay, and official reports later document Blast appearances for Mohammad Amir and Binura Fernando.

That is why this page uses the opening 15-player selection plus confirmed campaign additions. It does not carry forward Siddle, Ishan Kishan or every Nottinghamshire-contracted player when the 2026 Blast record does not support their inclusion.

Notts lost to Yorkshire, Lancashire and Derbyshire, then won every match from Durham at home through Leicestershire at Trent Bridge. The eight-match run was a county T20 record and secured first place plus a home quarter-final.

No single statistic proves one cause. The sequence did include five consecutive George Munsey fifties, growing contributions from George Linde and close wins by one and two runs, so the recovery combined top-order output, all-round depth and successful pressure finishes.

Both are correct when the scope is stated. Notts went 8–4 in the North Group, then beat Surrey and lost to Hampshire to finish 9–5 across all 14 matches.

The 32 points and +0.169 net run rate belong only to the group stage. The quarter-final and semi-final change the overall win-loss record, not the completed North table.

The 2026 format gave every county one home and one away crossover. Notts beat Central & West side Warwickshire by three wickets at Trent Bridge and South side Kent by four wickets at Canterbury.

Both wins counted in the North Group record and formed part of the eight-match streak. They did not move Notts into either opponent's group; the group label and the match's table value are separate facts.

Joe Clarke and George Munsey both fell in the first over, but Jack Haynes rebuilt the innings and finished unbeaten on 75. Late runs from Haynes, Benny Howell and Liam Patterson-White took Notts from 122/5 to 163/6.

Surrey then reached 85/0 after ten overs. George Linde broke the opening stand, Freddie McCann ran out Jason Roy, Binura Fernando took two wickets in the 19th and Olly Stone defended 12 in the last over; the seven-run win came through recovery in both innings.
