CPL 2026 squads and captains
The current CPL 2026 roster record contains 127 player entries across seven teams. The lists combine the official local draft, team overseas-player announcements and current match-centre rosters checked through 16 August; squad membership does not prove that every player was available together or appeared in a match.
Seven current team records
What do the CPL 2026 squad lists include?
The team cards preserve the latest complete roster layer available for each franchise at the 16 August cutoff. Totals range from 17 to 20 because the official records do not all describe the same publication stage.
A player can belong to a season roster without appearing in the selected XI. Captain labels are shown only where current team or match material supports them; Barbados and Guyana remain explicitly unconfirmed rather than carrying an older captain forward.
Antigua & Barbuda Falcons
20 playersCaptain: Fabian Allen
The 20-player opening match-centre roster is wider than a single match sheet. An absence from one selected XI or bench is not treated as a release.

Draft plus overseas signings
Why do CPL roster sources have different layers?
CPL first allocated the West Indian core through its local-player draft, while franchises announced overseas groups on separate dates. The match centre then supplied wider current rosters as the season began.
Those layers can differ without one automatically being wrong. This page uses the most complete current record supported for each team and retains a note where a phased arrival, team-specific release or match-centre roster changes how the list should be read.
Selection is not appearance
Were all 127 listed players available together?
No. Jamaica's official overseas announcement described a planned transition from 19 August, and every franchise can select only a match XI from its wider season group. Injury, travel, replacement and tactical availability can also change after a roster announcement.
The cards therefore describe roster membership, not appearances. A player's match record begins only when a reviewed scorecard names that player in the XI; a bench listing or squad announcement is not counted as an innings or bowling appearance.
Current roster guide
How should readers use the CPL squad page?
Use the team cards to compare roster size, player roles and current captain status, then open the linked team guide for results, leaders, staff and team-specific source notes.
For a particular match, check the corresponding scorecard or live match page. It has the stronger evidence for the selected XI, toss captain, substitutions and actual player contributions on that date.
