HBL PSL 11 · Pakistan
HBL PSL 11 squads and captains
The HBL PSL 11 squad directory contains 169 sourced names across all eight teams. Five records represent a final or current campaign list; Hyderabad Kingsmen, Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars use wider registration timelines so replacements and earlier documented squad members are not silently erased.
Eight team records, three source states
What is included in the HBL PSL 11 squad directory?
Every card identifies the source state behind its names. Islamabad, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta and Rawalpindi have final or current campaign lists; Hyderabad, Karachi and Lahore need timeline treatment because their documented registrations changed across announcements, directories and replacements.
The 169-name total therefore measures sourced season records, not 169 players simultaneously registered on one date. Each player appears under the team connected to that HBL PSL 11 record, with roles taken from the same maintained team directory.

Season-specific leadership
Who captained each team in HBL PSL 11?
The captain labels belong to the completed 2026 competition, not a future-season projection. Babar Azam led champions Peshawar Zalmi, while Marnus Labuschagne captained first-season runners-up Hyderabad Kingsmen.
A player being listed in a squad does not prove captaincy. Leadership is shown only where the team and season records support the role.
| Team | HBL PSL 11 captain |
|---|---|
| Hyderabad Kingsmen | Marnus Labuschagne |
| Islamabad United | Shadab Khan |
| Karachi Kings | David Warner |
| Lahore Qalandars | Shaheen Shah Afridi |
| Multan Sultans | Ashton Turner |
| Peshawar Zalmi | Babar Azam |
| Quetta Gladiators | Saud Shakeel |
| Rawalpindi Pindiz | Mohammad Rizwan |
Replacements stay visible without becoming one squad
Why do Hyderabad, Karachi and Lahore have larger roster timelines?
Those three cards combine separately dated roster layers. Hyderabad's record reconciles its launch squad, later directory and a documented tournament participant; Karachi's record preserves auction and replacement stages; Lahore's record spans retentions, auction selections and later campaign additions.
The note on each card explains its boundary. This keeps a replaced or earlier registered player in the season history without implying that every timeline name occupied an active slot together.
Registration is not an appearance
Does every squad name count as an HBL PSL 11 appearance?
No. A squad, contract, replacement or final-poster entry shows registration status, not that the player entered a match. Appearance and performance claims require the completed scorecards and tournament statistics.
The squad page therefore does not assign matches, runs or wickets from roster membership alone. Temporary players found only in match records can remain in team statistics without being added to a final-poster squad.
