A late operational change

How did the HBL PSL 11 venue plan change?

The original 10 March announcement allocated matches across Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Multan, Peshawar and Faisalabad. The PCB's 22 March revision moved the full tournament to Lahore and Karachi under an austerity and resource-efficiency plan.

The change affected travel and venue labels, not the 44-match format. Each remaining ground hosted 22 matches; Karachi staged the Qualifier, while Lahore hosted both Eliminators and the Final.

Two first-season franchises

How did Hyderabad and Rawalpindi perform?

Hyderabad lost its first four matches, won five of the next six league games and qualified fourth on net run rate. Two sudden-death Eliminator wins then carried the Kingsmen to the Final, where Peshawar ended the run.

Rawalpindi lost its first eight matches before beating Islamabad on 23 April. The Pindiz finished 1–9 in eighth place; that maiden win belongs in the debut record without changing the completed table position.

One Qualifier and two Eliminators

How did Peshawar and Hyderabad reach the Final?

Peshawar used the top-two route, beating Islamabad once in the Qualifier to advance. Hyderabad entered from fourth place and had no second chance: it beat Multan by eight wickets, then Islamabad by two runs.

The Final belonged to Aaron Hardie across both innings. His 4/27 reduced Hyderabad to 129, and his unbeaten 56 steadied Peshawar after the chase began at 7/2.

What belongs in the HBL PSL 11 news timeline?

The timeline includes official events that changed the season record: the venue plan, match outcomes, table consequences, playoff progression, title and post-season honours. It does not reproduce every interview, sponsor item or highlight clip.

Later PSL 12 signings, trades or schedule announcements belong to the next season unless an official correction changes the HBL PSL 11 archive. Completed results, table totals and player leaders remain fixed at the 4 May cutoff.
