Rawalpindi Pindiz Team: Squad, Results, Stats & Schedule

Rawalpindiz, also marketed as Pindiz, represent Rawalpindi in the Pakistan Super League. Walee Technologies acquired the former Multan franchise rights for a PCB-record PKR 245 crore in February 2026 and relocated the slot under a new city, name and identity.

Mohammad Rizwan captained Justin Kemp's debut side. Rawalpindiz lost their first eight matches, beat Islamabad United by six wickets in the Twin Cities Derby to claim the Golden Bail and maiden win, then lost the final league game to Hyderabad Kingsmen. Rawalpindiz's public competitive history starts in 2026. The old Multan Sultans identity has its own earlier PSL record, while the separately owned 2026 Multan Sultans entry came from another slot; titles and seasons are not duplicated onto this page.

The 11 February auction list was a point-in-time roster, not the last campaign directory. The later 19-player poster includes Jalat Khan, Razaullah, Saad Masood, Cole McConchie and Usman Khawaja, while auction-stage names such as Zaman Khan, Fawad Ali and Laurie Evans do not appear in that final group.

Usman replaced Laurie before the completed roster was published. Ben Sears and Mubasir Khan later appeared as temporary replacements in match records, so their statistics remain valid without silently turning the final-poster squad into 21 players.

The original 10 March schedule assigned Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium 11 tournament matches, including five Rawalpindiz home fixtures and a Qualifier. That plan changed before the competition began.

The 2021 title belongs to the historical Multan Sultans identity. A separately owned Multan Sultans team also competed in PSL 11, so copying the old Multan record onto Rawalpindiz would duplicate two distinct public histories.

The Golden Bail is the Twin Cities Derby honour contested with Islamabad United, not a Pakistan Super League championship. Islamabad claimed it after the first meeting; Rawalpindiz took it for a year by winning the return match and levelling the season series 1–1.

That 23 April chase of 138 also ended an eight-match losing run and delivered the franchise's first win. It did not change the playoff outcome: Rawalpindiz remained eighth and closed the season 1–9.

Rawalpindiz entered their last match with only one win, then conceded 244/6 and were bowled out for 136. The 108-run defeat was their largest losing margin and pushed an already weak season differential further down to a final NRR of -1.760.

It also shows why win count and margin answer different questions. The maiden derby win secured two points and an honour; the final margin described how decisively the campaign ended, but could not remove either result from the table.
