Nepal Premier League 2025 squads and captains

The Nepal Premier League 2025 squad archive contains 154 roster entries across eight teams. Each card keeps the completed Season 2 list separate from 2026 recruitment, names the season captain and coach, and labels the two withdrawn-player records without treating squad membership as proof of a match appearance.

Completed Season 2 archive

What is included in the NPL 2025 squad directory?

The directory records the final reviewed squad timeline for each of the eight teams. The team counts add to 154 entries: Biratnagar 18, Chitwan 19, Janakpur 20, Karnali 18, Kathmandu 18, Lumbini 20, Pokhara 21 and Sudur Paschim 20.

These are season rosters, not eight playing XIs. A player can appear because they were registered, added or later withdrawn; only a scorecard establishes participation in a particular match.

Season leadership

Who captained and coached each NPL 2025 team?

The leadership directory is season-specific. It does not silently carry a 2025 coach into NPL 2026 or replace match-specific captaincy evidence.

Final list does not mean one-day availability

Why do Lumbini and Pokhara include withdrawn players?

The completed squad source marks Bibek Yadav withdrawn in Lumbini's 20-name record and Raymon Reifer withdrawn in Pokhara's 21-name record. StumpScope keeps both labels because removing the names would turn a season timeline into an inaccurate final-day snapshot.

Overseas totals are also copied only when the season directory labels them. Nationality alone is not used to decide whether a player occupied an overseas slot, and a registration does not prove that the player travelled or appeared.

Squad membership is not an appearance

How should the NPL squad lists be read?

Use these cards to answer who belonged to each completed 2025 roster timeline. Use the match archive and scorecards to answer who played, kept wicket or captained in a particular fixture.

The 2026 retention and auction process is a different season state. Current team guides may show that newer domestic group, while this page remains fixed to the completed 17 November–13 December 2025 competition.
