The completed opening scorecard establishes Janakpur Bolts against Kathmandu Gorkhas as Match 1. StumpScope follows the played fixture and result rather than repeating an earlier conflicting opponent line from a schedule report.

How did the NPL 2025 batting records change?
Mark Watt made the first century of the season on 22 November, scoring 114 not out from 44 balls against Lumbini. Adam Rossington added 108 not out against Karnali on 2 December and later finished as the tournament's leading run-scorer.
Watt's 114 remained the higher individual score and his 12 sixes in that innings were also the season high. Rossington's aggregate lead came from 323 runs in seven innings, not from combining another NPL edition.
Top four confirmed by 5 December
How was the NPL playoff field decided?
Lumbini's win over Janakpur confirmed the four qualifiers: Sudur Paschim Royals, Biratnagar Kings, Kathmandu Gorkhas and Lumbini Lions. The remaining league games then settled the order rather than adding another qualifier.
Sudur Paschim finished first on 12 points. Biratnagar and Kathmandu each had 10, with the Kings second on NRR; Lumbini's eight points secured fourth and an Eliminator place.
Four results from 9–13 December
What happened in the NPL 2025 playoffs?
Sudur Paschim used Qualifier 1 to reach the Final directly. Lumbini took the longer route from fourth, winning the Eliminator and Qualifier 2 before beating the Royals in the title match.

First Lumbini championship
What did Lumbini Lions' title run mean?
Lumbini moved from last place in the inaugural 2024 season to champions in 2025. Their second-season campaign turned after a 1–3 start, and the six-match closing streak included three league wins and all three knockout matches.
The Final itself was decisive: Ruben Trumpelmann took 3/3, Rohit Paudel completed a hat-trick within 3/12, and Dinesh Adhikari struck 42 from 13 balls in the chase. Those match facts explain the title without changing Lumbini's fourth-place league-table row.
