Only five-wicket innings

Dushmantha Chameera took 5/55 against Galle, the tournament's only five-wicket innings and the sixth five-wicket haul in LPL history. Galle still made 220/6 and won by 44 runs, so the best individual bowling return did not produce a Dambulla victory.
Eshan Malinga's 4/26, Nuwan Thushara's 4/29, Akif Javed's 4/40 and Binura Fernando's 4/45 were the other four leading innings returns.

Qualifier 1 set the scoring peak
What were the highest team totals in LPL 2026?
Jaffna's 242/2 against Galle in Qualifier 1 was the highest total. Galle replied with 228/8, making the same playoff the season's highest match aggregate at 470 runs.
Jaffna also made 221/6 against Kandy, Galle posted 220/6 against Dambulla, and Kandy reached 214/4 in the chase led by Udara's unbeaten 132. The final then produced a very different title contest: Jaffna 123 and Galle 126/5.

Scorecards resolve display-label conflicts
Which LPL record labels needed reconciliation?
The official records page currently labels the 88 not out as Kusal Mendis, while the competition's own match report and completed scorecard identify Kamindu Mendis. The official wickets card also displays 'Luke Williams'; Jaffna's squad and completed aggregates identify the 16-wicket bowler as Lizaad Williams.
StumpScope uses Kamindu and Lizaad in the tables above. The official page's highest-average panel is not reproduced because its 81.00 Kamindu figure conflicts with the completed 280-run, ten-innings aggregate; an unresolved derived statistic is omitted rather than guessed.
League stage plus four playoffs
What is included in the final LPL 2026 statistics?
The aggregates cover all 24 matches from 17 July through the 8 August Final. That includes 20 league fixtures, Qualifier 1, the Eliminator, Qualifier 2 and the Final; playoff performances therefore count in player and team totals even though they do not affect league-table points.
The 2 August Dambulla–Jaffna no-result still contributes Dambulla's completed 203/8 innings and Jaffna's bowling figures. No fictional Jaffna chase is added, and later seasons or historical franchise records are outside this cutoff.
