Duleep Trophy 2026/27 points-table status
The Duleep Trophy 2026/27 does not have a points table. This is not a delayed pre-season table: all five matches form a straight knockout bracket, so teams progress through official match outcomes rather than league points, wins columns or net run rate.
Not applicable
Why is there no Duleep Trophy points table?
The competition has no round-robin group or league phase. East, North East, North and West begin in quarter-finals, while Central and South enter in the semi-finals.
Played, won, lost, points and net run rate columns would misrepresent this structure. The correct live season record is the knockout bracket: scheduled match, confirmed result and the team that advances.
No points table applies
The 2026/27 Duleep Trophy is a straight knockout competition, so there is no league-stage points table.
Status at 16 August
What replaces the Duleep Trophy points table?
A five-match bracket replaces standings. East Zone versus North East Zone and North Zone versus West Zone are the two quarter-finals; Central Zone and South Zone already hold the two direct semi-final places.
No qualifier had been confirmed at the 16 August cutoff because every match was still upcoming. The bracket will name each advancing team only after the relevant BCCI match centre publishes the official outcome.

How teams qualify for the next round
Each quarter-final determines one semi-finalist. Central Zone wait for the first quarter-final qualifier, while South Zone wait for the second quarter-final qualifier.
The semi-final winners qualify for the final. A knockout outcome changes the next matchup; it does not award table points or create a standings row.
Regulation boundary
How will a drawn knockout match be handled?
The public BCCI season announcement, schedule and match listings checked for this page establish the bracket but do not publish the full deciding-rule text for a drawn knockout match. StumpScope will therefore follow the qualifier named by BCCI rather than assume a first-innings, points or net-run-rate rule.
Once an official result identifies the advancing team, the schedule and bracket status will update together. The scoreline will remain separate from the qualification label so a drawn match is not rewritten as a conventional win.
