Multi-day date ranges

How long does each Duleep Trophy match last?

Both quarter-finals run from 23 to 26 August, and both semi-finals run from 30 August to 2 September. Those four fixtures each have a four-day playing window.

The final has a five-day window from 6 to 10 September. The large date shown beside each fixture is its opening day; the complete date range remains in the round label so a multi-day match is not mistaken for a one-day event.

How the Duleep Trophy 2026 bracket works

The East Zone versus North East Zone winner advances to face Central Zone in semi-final 1. The North Zone versus West Zone winner advances to face South Zone in semi-final 2.

The two semi-final winners meet in the final. Conditional opponent labels remain in the schedule until the preceding match produces the official qualifier.

Which grounds host the Duleep Trophy?

BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground 1 hosts the North Zone versus West Zone quarter-final, Central Zone's semi-final and the final. Ground 2 hosts the East Zone versus North East Zone quarter-final and South Zone's semi-final.

Both grounds are within the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. The schedule preserves the ground number because two matches begin at the same time in the quarter-final and semi-final rounds.

When will results replace the scheduled fixtures?

All five matches were still upcoming at the 16 August cutoff. A result and score line will appear only after the current BCCI match centre confirms the outcome; the page will not infer a winner from an incomplete innings or an unsupported report.

Quarter-final and semi-final placeholders will be replaced with the named qualifier after the preceding official result. Until then, labels such as “Quarter-final 1 winner” accurately preserve the published bracket dependency.
