WPL 2026 points table

Royal Challengers Bengaluru finished first in the final WPL 2026 league table with six wins and 12 points. Gujarat Giants placed second on 10 points and Delhi Capitals third on eight, sending Gujarat and Delhi to the Eliminator while RCB advanced directly to the Final.

Final after 20 league matches

Who topped the WPL 2026 points table?

RCB won six of eight league matches and finished two points clear of Gujarat Giants. That first-place finish carried the direct route to the Final; second and third place had to play the Eliminator.

Delhi Capitals qualified with four wins and eight points. Mumbai Indians finished fourth on six points and UP Warriorz fifth on four, so neither side entered the playoffs.

Top three progressed

How did the WPL 2026 table determine the playoffs?

First-placed RCB advanced directly to the 5 February Final. Gujarat Giants and Delhi Capitals finished second and third, so they met in the 3 February Eliminator at the same Vadodara venue.

Delhi won the Eliminator by seven wickets and reached the Final. That knockout result changed progression, but Gujarat remained second and Delhi third in the final league-stage table.

Points decide before net run rate

Why did Mumbai Indians finish below Delhi despite a higher NRR?

Mumbai Indians had a positive +0.059 net run rate, while Delhi Capitals finished at -0.055. Delhi still ranked third because four wins produced eight points, two more than Mumbai's three wins and six points.

Net run rate separates teams only when their points are level under the competition table. No two WPL 2026 teams finished the league stage on equal points, so NRR did not decide a final position.

Playoffs excluded from standings

Do the Eliminator and Final change the WPL table?

No. The standings stop after all five teams completed eight league matches on 1 February. Delhi's Eliminator win and RCB's Final win belong to the knockout record and do not add played matches, wins or points to this table.

The final WPL points table is therefore a 20-match league-stage snapshot, while the complete results archive contains 22 matches. Keeping those scopes separate prevents the champion's playoff result from being counted twice.
