WBBL|12 2026 schedule and fixtures

Each of the eight teams plays ten league matches between 29 October and 29 November. The top four then move into a three-match finals series, producing a 43-match season over 38 days.

Melbourne Renegades Women face Sydney Thunder Women in the opener at 15:40 Melbourne time. Melbourne Stars Women then play defending champions Hobart Hurricanes Women under the new Junction Oval lights at 19:10.

The first eight fixtures spread the opening phase across Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney. After the Junction Oval double-header, Brisbane Heat Women host Sydney Sixers Women at Allan Border Field on 30 October.

Halloween brings Adelaide Strikers Women versus Melbourne Stars Women at Karen Rolton Oval and Perth Scorchers Women versus Melbourne Renegades Women at the WACA Ground. Hobart Hurricanes Women play their first listed home match against the Renegades at Ninja Stadium on 4 November.

Sydney Sixers Women host Sydney Thunder Women at North Sydney Oval on 8 November. The return Sydney Smash is at Drummoyne Oval on 28 November, the penultimate day of the league stage.

The two Melbourne derbies are both at Junction Oval: Melbourne Stars Women versus Melbourne Renegades Women on 22 November, followed by the reverse fixture on 28 November. Those pairings are separate scheduled matches, not a combined event or result.

Third place hosts fourth place in the Knockout on 1 December. The winner travels to face the second-placed team in the Challenger on 3 December, and that winner advances to the Final.

The team that finishes first in the 40-match league stage hosts the Final on 5 December. No club or ground is assigned to those rows before the final standings establish the hosts and qualifiers.

The 40 league fixtures are displayed in the local time of their named venue, so Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney rows should be read in their own local zones. Eight grounds are confirmed for the league stage.

The official finals records currently correspond to 19:10 AEDT for the Knockout and Challenger and 19:20 AEDT for the Final. Because the host grounds are still TBC, those are Australian Eastern Daylight Time references; the display will be reconciled to venue-local time when each host is known.

No. All 43 rows remain scheduled fixtures at the 17 August cutoff. A team’s WBBL|11 finish, including Hobart Hurricanes Women’s title, does not create a WBBL|12 result or standing.

After play begins, a result will enter the schedule only from a completed official match record. The points table and player statistics will open from current-season data rather than zero-filled or previous-season totals.

The page covers every official WBBL|12 league and finals fixture, not only television selections or one club’s home matches. It keeps dates, teams, grounds and start times together so the season can be checked from opening day through the title match.

Cricket Australia’s current competition record is the controlling schedule source. If it changes a fixture, the affected row, checked date and related team schedules must be updated together.
