Final after all 34 matches

Who led the MLC 2026 statistics?

Washington Freedom wicketkeeper Andries Gous scored 547 runs in 13 innings, 34 more than San Francisco captain Matt Short. Short's 513 runs and 17 wickets made him the only player to appear in both of the tournament leaderboards below.

Narine, Baartman and Russell each took 18 wickets. Their equal totals came from different workloads and costs, so the table keeps matches, bowling average and economy beside the wicket count rather than presenting the three campaigns as identical.

Six highest run totals

Top MLC 2026 run-scorers

Gous led a top six in which every batter passed 400 runs. Short and Lhuan-dre Pretorius supplied two of those six entries for league-stage leaders San Francisco, while Gous and Mitchell Owen did the same for finalists Washington.

The totals include playoff innings. Los Angeles and San Francisco played 12 matches, MI New York 11 and Washington 13; a batter's match count therefore reflects both team progression and individual selection.

All six franchises

MLC 2026 batting and bowling leaders by team

The team table gives every franchise one leading batter and its highest wicket tally across the complete campaign. Los Angeles and MI New York each had a bowling tie, while Matt Short led both columns for San Francisco.

These are team records rather than tournament awards. They retain useful context for Texas and Seattle, whose players had no playoff matches in which to add to their league-stage totals.

League and playoff totals

What is included in the MLC 2026 statistics?

The player tables cover all 34 completed matches from 18 June through the 18 July Final. Playoff performances count in player totals, but the points table remains a separate 30-match league-stage record.

The official MLC season review establishes the published records and Final honour. Completed batting and bowling aggregates were cross-checked against the season statistics table, and team leaders were reconciled with each franchise's completed season record.
