Perth Scorchers at a glance
Perth Scorchers are WA Cricket's men's Twenty20 franchise and an inaugural member of the Big Bash League. Their orange home identity is based in Perth, with Optus Stadium known to supporters as the Furnace.
The Scorchers have won a competition-record six BBL titles: BBL|03, BBL|04, BBL|06, BBL|11, BBL|12 and BBL|15. They were also runners-up in BBL|01, BBL|02 and BBL|10, giving the club nine final appearances across the first 15 seasons.
Adam Voges' BBL|15 side finished first in the league at 7–3, 14 points and NRR +1.363. Perth then dismissed Sydney Sixers for 99 in a 48-run Qualifier win and for 132 in the Final before completing a six-wicket chase, closing the full campaign 9–3.
Finn Allen led the batting with 466 runs. Cooper Connolly took a team-high 15 wickets, while Aaron Hardie supplied the strongest two-skill season with 339 runs and 12 wickets. David Payne's 3/18 earned Player of the Final.
Perth also entered an invited Perth Scorchers XI in the 2026 Global Super League under stand-in coach Simon Katich. That available-player group went 1–3 in Guyana, beating Guyana Amazon Warriors by 14 runs after three narrow losses; its squad and record remain separate from the BBL|16 contract tracker.
