Pakistan Whites 2026 Squad, Results, Stats & Schedule

Pakistan Whites are one of four men's selection sides in the inaugural 2026 National Champions Cup. The 50-over List A competition uses one round robin, with only the top two teams advancing to the 18 August final.

Saim Ayub captains Whites and Iqbal Imam is head coach. Samiullah Niazi, Faisal Athar and Saqib Faqir hold the tournament-specific bowling, batting and fielding coaching roles.

Whites elected to bat against Pakistan Greens and recovered from 40/2 through two substantial middle-order stands. Their 276/8 was passed at 277/5 in 49 overs despite five different Whites bowlers taking wickets.

The durable standings snapshot after the first two tournament matches lists Whites third with no points and NRR -0.133. Pakistan Blues v Pakistan Whites was live at 17:08 PKT on 13 August, so its changing score is not folded into this completed record.

PCB announced Akif Javed in the fixed XI, but reserve-pool pacer Shahnawaz Dahani played the opening match.

The other ten announced players all appear in the 11 August scorecard. Keeping Akif and Dahani in one dated timeline preserves both the selection announcement and the actual participant record without implying that 12 players took the field.

PCB said reserves could enter only for injury or concussion. That establishes the competition rule, but it does not identify Akif's exact condition; the public record therefore stops at the documented change.

Three half-centuries and two major partnerships rebuilt the innings after two early wickets.

Shahzaib Khan made 76 from 88 balls and added 78 for the third wicket with Usman Khan. Hasan Nawaz then made 56 from 61 balls before a 77-run fifth-wicket stand carried Whites from 164/4 to 241/5.

Khushdil Shah supplied 51 from 44 balls with three sixes. Whites lost three wickets between 241 and 273 but used all 50 overs, allowing Haris Rauf and Dahani to close at 276/8.

The decisive damage came at the start of the chase, when Greens reached 90 before losing their first wicket.

Fakhar Zaman made 123 from 104 balls, so Whites spent most of the innings defending against an established opener. Saad Masood's 2/30 was the best return. Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Wasim and Shahnawaz Dahani took one wicket each, but none removed Fakhar early enough to reset the chase.

Whites did take five wickets and forced the target into the final two overs. The issue was not a wicketless attack; it was that the first breakthrough arrived after a 90-run stand and Greens still had enough batting resources to finish in 49 overs.

Whites scored at 5.52 runs per over; Greens reached the target at 5.65. That narrow rate difference explains the official -0.133 NRR better than the five-wicket margin alone.

A wickets margin measures resources left when the target is reached. It does not mean Greens dominated every phase, and it does not turn 276 into a universally inadequate List A score without venue-wide evidence.

At the 17:08 PKT cutoff on 13 August, Pakistan Whites were batting against Pakistan Blues and the match had no result. The changing score is deliberately excluded from the one-match archive and from player aggregates.

Once a final scorecard is available, that match can update Whites' results, leaders and table state together. Until then, only the 16 August fixture against Pakistan Gold remains in the confirmed future schedule.
