Pakistan Greens are one of four men's selection sides in the inaugural 2026 National Champions Cup. The 50-over List A event uses one round robin from 11 to 16 August, with the top two teams advancing to the 18 August final.

Shadab Khan captains Greens and Ijaz Ahmed Jnr is head coach. Rehan Riaz, Khurram Shahzad and Fahad Iqbal hold the tournament-specific bowling, batting and fielding coaching roles.

Pakistan Whites elected to bat and made 276/8. Greens reached 277/5 in exactly 49 overs, winning by five wickets with six balls remaining after Fakhar supplied 123 runs and an opening partnership of 90 with Sameer Minhas.

Fakhar also delivered four overs for only 11 runs. His wicketless 2.75 economy rate was the lowest among Greens' seven bowlers, a useful contribution that disappears if the match is reduced to the headline century.

The wickets margin sounds comfortable, but Greens reached the target with only one over unused.
