Amsterdam Flames 2026 Squad & Fixtures

Amsterdam Flames are one of six men's franchises in the inaugural European T20 Premier League. The club represents Amsterdam and the Netherlands in a cross-border competition created with the cricket boards of the Netherlands, Ireland and Scotland.

Mitchell Marsh is the first captain. Ryan Cook leads the coaching group, with JP Duminy and John Davison as assistant coaches. The ownership and executive group includes Tim Thomas, Steve Waugh and Jamie Dwyer, while Waugh also holds the club's Chief Cricket Officer role.

The official club roster combines established overseas players, a six-player Dutch core and emerging players from Ireland, Nepal, Canada and Italy. That spread fits the ETPL roster rules, but the final playing XI remains unknown before the first match.

Amsterdam open against Rotterdam Dockers at VCC on 26 August. The league uses a double round robin: every team plays ten matches, first place advances directly to the final, and second meets third in the qualifier.

The club roster page lists 17 players, while Ajinkya Rahane was announced later as a marquee signing. No official update explains who, if anyone, was replaced.

The 17-name roster includes Mitchell Marsh, five other overseas players, six Dutch players and five players grouped as ones to watch. The ETPL's published rules also describe a 17-player squad.

Rahane's 7 August announcement is first-party evidence of a signing, but it does not authorize StumpScope to remove another player or call the combined list a final 18-player squad. The page will reconcile the list only when the club or league publishes the change.

A balanced roster does not mean every listed overseas player can appear together. The squad and match XI have separate local and overseas limits.

ETPL rules require a 17-player squad with at least eight local players, including two affiliated local players, plus European and global Associate representation. The permitted overseas range is five to seven.

A playing XI must contain at least five local players and no more than four overseas players. That makes availability and category status important, but it does not justify predicting Amsterdam's first XI before the toss.

Amsterdam is the represented city, not one of the two 2026 playing locations. All Flames league matches are scheduled in Voorburg or Malahide.

The first 17 ETPL matches are at VCC in Voorburg. Amsterdam play six times there before the competition moves to Ireland, where their final four league fixtures are at Malahide Cricket Club Ground.

Calling VRA or another Amsterdam ground the team's 2026 home venue would conflict with the published fixture list. The page therefore separates franchise identity from actual match location.

The list covers power batting, wicketkeeping, spin, pace and several multi-skill players, with a strong Dutch core beside international experience.

Marsh, Smith, Tim David, Michael Bracewell, David Payne and Richard Gleeson form the overseas group on the club roster. Scott Edwards, Max O'Dowd, Bas de Leede, Kyle Klein, Aryan Dutt and Tim Pringle supply the listed Dutch core.

Curtis Campher, Dipendra Singh Airee, Yuvraj Samra, Ali Hasan and Jordan Neill broaden the group across Ireland and Associate cricket. This describes roster construction, not a performance forecast or guaranteed availability.

A signing or roster place confirms selection status. A completed scorecard establishes a match appearance.

Amsterdam Flames have not played an ETPL match at the 16 August research cutoff. The page therefore publishes no team run-scorer, wicket-taker, result, points total or net run rate.

Appearances begin only when a player is named in a completed match record. Later withdrawals, replacements or availability changes must come from a dated first-party update rather than assumption.
