Retained for the 2026 Washington squad
Washington Freedom retained Paradkar among nine domestic players for the completed 2026 season and listed him in the full squad. Retention confirms his place in the season group, but no appearance or bowling total is added without a scorecard naming him in the playing XI.
Washington reached the 2026 final after finishing the league stage with six wins from ten matches. Paradkar's inclusion in the domestic bowling group belongs to that team context, but the franchise's season outcome is not an individual appearance. His current MLC playing line therefore remains the one confirmed 2025 match, while the 2026 entry records squad retention only.
Paradkar's international record covers six ODIs and four T20Is, while his MLC playing record contains one confirmed 2025 appearance. The two debut spells are important because they produced immediate wickets, but the small match count does not establish a long-term selection trend.
Squad membership and playing appearances are also different records. His 2026 Washington retention is current team evidence; the 1 for 32 belongs specifically to his 2025 debut scorecard. Keeping those scopes separate prevents an unplayed season from adding runs, wickets or matches.
The ODI and T20I tables also answer different questions. ODI figures come from six matches spread across 2021, 2023 and 2024, while all four T20Is came during the 2024 Namibia tri-series. Combining them would hide the different ball limits, match phases and selection periods. The separated tables let readers compare wickets, economy and strike rate within the right format.
Three years separated Paradkar's two international debuts. In the ODI against Papua New Guinea he could build a nine-over spell, concede only 26 and use two maidens while USA defended a large total. Against UAE in the T20I, his work was compressed into four overs during a 15-run defence. Both produced three or more wickets, but the innings length and tactical demands were different.
The matches after those debuts add necessary scale. His remaining five ODIs contributed five wickets, including 3 for 78 against Zimbabwe and 1 for 33 against the Netherlands. His next three T20Is produced one further wicket after the opening 3 for 24. That distribution explains why the debut spells lead his record while the complete tables still show every match rather than presenting the best figures as typical returns.
Paradkar's batting figures add another boundary to the role description. He has 51 ODI runs from five innings, with a high score of 24, and 16 T20I runs from two innings. Those totals show lower-order contributions rather than evidence for a specialist batting role. Washington's bowler classification therefore matches both the workload and the available output.
The fielding and delivery counts help complete the same picture. His ODI row contains 222 balls and one catch, while the T20I row contains 54 balls. The MLC debut adds 18 deliveries but belongs to franchise cricket, not the international aggregates. Reading the raw ball counts beside wickets prevents a one-match highlight from replacing the full workload.
Selection dates also matter when interpreting freshness. Paradkar's last listed ODI and T20I appearances came in 2024, his confirmed MLC match came in 2025, and Washington retained him for 2026. The sequence shows continued franchise association after his most recent international caps, but it does not prove a later USA appearance or a 2026 MLC playing role.
